The New Orleans Saints had a rough start to open the game and trail the Seattle Seahawks 38-6 at halftime on Sunday at Lumen Field in Seattle.
The Saints (0-2) gave up a 95-yard punt return for a touchdown, had another Kai Kroeger punt blocked to set up another Seattle touchdown and had multiple penalties to undermine its effort in the first road game of the season. It was the first blocked punt the Saints have given up since 2011 (222 games). The Saints also gave up a 60-yard kickoff return. Prior to the miscues on special teams, the Saints turned the ball over on downs on the opening possession.
