WASHINGTON Commanders head coach Dan Quinn was bloodied after taking a hard hit from his own quarterback.

The collision occurred during the first half of the Commanders' Week 3 home matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders .

Marcus Mariota started in place of the injured star Jayden Daniels on Sunday.

The 31-year-old scrambled for a three-yard run.

However, a collision took place as Mariota was running out of bounds when he was pushed into the Commanders' sideline by a Raiders defender.

Mariota couldn't stop himself before running into Quinn, who fell to the ground and landed on his head.

The cameras spotted Quinn getting up, but he appeared to have a cut on his nose and was dripping with blood.
