WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) -- Late political influencer Charlie Kirk's funeral was held on Sunday in Phoenix, while a local group gathered for a vigil in his honor.

The vigil took place at the Warren Community Amphitheater and began with a few local speakers, followed by a prayer and live music.

"I'm just very appreciative that there was such a thing here in our community that we can celebrate his life and legacy, what he accomplished here in the United States," said Debbie Davis, an attendee at the event.
