DANSVILLE, Mich. (WILX) - The Dansville Aggies football team has forfeited its Week 5 matchup vs. Pewamo-Westphalia due to a shortage of healthy players, according to a post on Pewamo-Westphalia’s Facebook page .

The matchup was scheduled to be the Pirates’ homecoming game, and as a result, Pewamo-Westphalia has rescheduled its homecoming festivities for the week of October 5-10. The Pirates’ homecoming game will be played October 10 vs. Fowler.

Pewamo-Westphalia says it is hoping to find another opponent to play this week.

The Pirates are off to a 4-0 start to the season, while Dansville is 0-4.
