STILLWATER — Zane Flores' time as Oklahoma State's quarterback is now three games deep.

The redshirt freshman was thrust into action after Hauss Hejny suffered a first-quarter injury in the opener. Flores' debut start was at No. 6 Oregon and, last Friday, his team suffered a rare loss to in-state rival Tulsa.

What's been the toughest thing for him to grasp now that the nonconference season is finished?

"Probably just trusting the process and staying the course," Flores said after Friday's game. "I mean the results obviously aren't showing in the win column right now, so just trusting that (process) and just trying to get better each week."
