The former Missouri football star scored his first touchdown as a professional player for the Chicago Bears on Sunday, as head coach Ben Johnson and quarterback Caleb Williams dialed up some trickery to get Burden wide open for a 65-yard scoring play.
Entering Sunday’s game for Chicago in its home matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, Burden had been relatively quiet on the box score since signing for the Bears. He had two catches for a total of two yards in first two games as an NFL rookie.
