BLUEFIELD, VA (WVNS) - Folks gathered in the town of Bluefield for a vigil in honor of Charlie Kirk.
This event all began with Meagan Vance Kade and some other volunteers who felt led to honor him. Quite the crowd showed up in response at the Town of Bluefield Official Farmer’s Market and Community Garden.
The vigil held themes of a church service, as they took time to reflect on Kirk’s Christian faith.
“The strong voice that Charlie had - it profoundly impacted and left us a shaken people. So this was a time that we could come together. You know, the Bible talks about what man means for evil [God] means for good and we wanted to use what was done for evil, for good,” said Vance Kade.
