The Giants ’ still-developing offense needs all the help it can get.

So offensive-minded head coach Brian Daboll had to hate seeing what happened with 1:42 left in the first quarter Sunday night against the Chiefs, as running back Tyrone Tracy exited with an injury and headed to the locker room for further examination.

The nature and severity of his injury are unclear. And the Giants do also have promising rookie Cam Skattebo in their backfield. But if Tracy can’t return Sunday, that would be less than ideal for the 0-2 Giants.
