A busy section of Timberline Road will be fully closed over the weekend of Sept. 27-28 to allow crews to complete crack sealing.

Timberline Road between East Mulberry Street and East Prospect Road will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days, weather permitting, according to a city of Fort Collins news release.

Signs will direct drivers of detours, which include using Lemay Avenue or the I-25 Frontage Road to connect between Mulberry and Prospect during the closure.

Sidewalks along Timberline Road will stay open during the closure. That includes the connection to the Poudre Trail on the east side of Timberline Road near the Poudre River crossing.
