A woman has died in a crash near a Cambridgeshire village. The woman was involved in a collision on the A505 near Melbourn on Saturday, September 20.

The woman, who is in her 40s, was driving a blue Mini Cooper that collided with a white Fiat Ducato at around 3pm. Emergency services were called to the area and the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Fiat suffered serious injuries and was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital where they remain. Police are now asking anyone with information or dashcam footage of the incident and the moments leading up to it to come forward.
