An iconic building on St Enoch Square has been given a new lease of life after being turned into serviced apartments with space for a whisky-themed bar and restaurant.

Mosaic Architecture + Design has converted the former Teacher building into 25 serviced apartments for short-term accommodation. The bottom floor of the building, which reopened earlier this month, has permission for a public house and restaurant with outside seating.

Dating back to 1875 , the building was designed by James Boucher, who is best known for designing Kibble Palace. It was originally the headquarters, offices and dram shop of William Teacher & Sons.
