George Clarke sparked some confusion among Strictly Come Dancing fans as he made his ballroom debut.

The YouTube star is among the 15 celebrities lined up to take part in the BBC One dance contest this year and was seen on the dance floor for the first time over the weekend.

The 25-year-old, who also goes by George Clarkey, boasts over 600,000 subscribers on YouTube and a further 2.3 million TikTok followers, where he posts comedic skits.

George was among the new Strictly stars that show hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman were welcoming into the ballroom during the pre-recorded launch show on Saturday night (September 20).
