QUINCY (WGEM) - It’s been one of the most popular Tri-State attractions since its inception. The Quincy Makers Market was back on Saturday on the 6th Street Promenade.

The event draws hundreds of attendants each year.

Event organizers said they have been satisfied with the event since it began in 2020.

“It started as a really small idea,” said Fawn Berry, organizer of Makers Market. “I approached Tieraney Craig, owner of Quincy Brewing Company, and I asked her if she was interested in doing a makers market.”

They explained they have consistently broken their own record of vendors since a humble start of just 20 vendors in their first year.

“I lived in Colorado before here, so I kind of wanted to bring the bigger city market energy to this town,” said Berry. “And, we tried in June 2020
