Production was halted last week on the set of “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” after the star of the film suffered an injury. According to TMZ , actor Tom Holland suffered a concussion during a mishap while performing a stunt.

The injury was serious enough that Holland was hospitalized and will miss a few days of filming as a result. The 29-year-old English actor was filming scenes for the film in Glasgow when the injury happened.

The injury doesn’t appear to be too severe, as Holland and his fiancée Zendaya -- who also co-stars in the film -- attended a charity event over the weekend.

The film’s production schedule will be tweaked as a result of the injury, but it is unclear if it will cause the film’s release to be delayed. “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” is expected to hit theaters in July
