The taxi driver who took Southport killer, Axel Rudakubana, to the Taylor Swift dance class where he murdered three young children waited 50 minutes before calling 999, the Southport Inquiry heard.

Gary Poland had picked Rudakubana up from his home in Banks, Lancashire, on July 29 last year before dropping him at the scene of what would become a horrific tragedy.

It was heard how the cab driver heard children scream and saw them fleeing from the building in his rear-view mirror as he drove away - but neglected to call the emergency services for 50 minutes.
