GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) -- Greensboro police are investigating reports of shots fired in a parking deck on the North Carolina A&T University campus on Sunday, according to an announcement made by the university.
At 4:24 a.m., NC A&T police responded to Obermeyer Parking Deck when they were told about shots being fired on campus.
According to witnesses, the shots were fired by a male wearing a dark hoodie.
The male ran in the direction of a black Ford Explorer and a grey sedan, and both vehicles sped out of the parking deck, turned right on Benbow Road and left the campus.
There is no continuing threat on campus, the university says.
There are no reported injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
