In an exclusive interview with WREG in 2021, Pleas's mother explained receiving a phone call from him asking for help with a flat tire just before 10 p.m.
When she arrived at the gas station, she saw his car and the passenger seat covered in blood. But never saw him.
At this time, no new information surrounding Pleas' death has surfaced.
