SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — Court records filed in Tom Green County have shed new light on an incident that unfolded in San Angelo Saturday night that resulted in a 35-year-old being hospitalized after being shot in the face.

The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office inmate roster states that Alan Helms, 34, was booked into the Tom Green County Detention Center at 1:59 a.m. on Sept. 21 on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. As of the time of publication, he remains there with a bond of $350,000.
