A federal judge today dismissed a lawsuit by a psychiatry professor at Harvard Medical School for terminating his job as an instructor after Massachusetts General Hospital fired him as a doctor in 2021 for refusing to get Covid-19 shots.

In his ruling, US District Court Judge Leo Sorokin said all of Dr. James Wines's complaints were really just against Mass. General, because the medical-school employee handbook made it clear that the medical school would simply and summarily fire any instructor who was first fired by the hospital.

Wines, in fact, did sue Mass. General at first for firing him, but the judge in that case dismissed it with prejudice after Wines dropped his lawyer and then refused to answer any pre-trial "discovery" questions - so he never got to make his case to a jury that
