CORINTH, Maine — State police are investigating a shooting Sunday in Corinth that left one person dead and a second in critical condition.

Troopers responded to a home on Main Street early Sunday morning after emergency dispatchers received multiple calls reporting a shooting, according to a news release from the Maine Department of Public Safety.

One man was found injured outside the residence and a second man was found dead inside a nearby apartment.

The injured man was flown by LifeFlight to a hospital, where he was listed in critical condition as of Monday afternoon. His identity has not been released.

The man found dead inside the home was identified as 46-year-old Scott Roberts of Glenburn. Autopsy results determined died from a gunshot wound, and his death was ruled a homicide.
