KINGSTON, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- A Kingston man is facing additional charges stemming from an initial sex crime arrest from April. According to New York State Police, Alan DePace, 24, is accused of having child sex abuse materials.

DePace was arrested in April after investigators reportedly found a multitude of images depicting the sexual exploitation of children during the execution of a search warrant. He was also accused of inappropriately filming someone without their consent.

Troopers charged DePace with second-degree unlawful surveillance and possessing a sexual performance by a child less than 16 years old, but an investigation remained ongoing.
