TOLEDO, Ohio — A north Toledo man is facing multiple felony charges after he allegedly kidnapped and attempted to suffocate a person on Saturday.

According to Toledo police affidavits, 21-year-old Javantay Noble forced the victim into a vehicle by threatening to assault and stab them, and then drove to a different location. Noble allegedly continued to threaten the victim in the vehicle, saying he would assault them with a "crowbar/tire iron," according to the document.

Noble is also accused of shoving the victim on to a couch, placing a pillow over their face "while pushing it down, causing the victim to not be able to breathe."

Noble was charged with first-degree felony kidnapping and third-degree felony strangulation/suffocation.

A warrant was filed for Noble's arrest on Sunday. He
