BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- The Kern County Fair is giving away two free admission tickets to those who donate six cans of non-perishable food items on Sept. 23.

"Feed the Need Day," created by the Kern County Fair, collected over 20,000 cans of food in 2024 for the Community Action Partnership of Kern.

Six cans of non-perishables per person is required for two admission tickets.

All cans of food will go to CAPK.
