(WPRI) — In an exclusive interview with 12 Informa, Paola Fernández, Executive Vice President of Community Development at Centreville Bank, discussed Bank Forward, a one-of-a-kind initiative in the nation in which all Rhode Island banks have come together to promote diversity in the financial industry and create new career opportunities for the community.
“Banks usually compete with each other for clients and services, but in this case, we have decided to join forces to create a space for opportunity,” Fernández explained. “We need new talent to enter the financial industry, and we want that talent to reflect the diversity of Rhode Island.”
