LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Louisville Division of Kroger is giving $25,000 to Feed Louisville. The nonprofit is made up of professional chefs who work to make sure food isn’t wasted and make meals for the hungry and homeless in the area. The donation will help with the group’s efforts to feed underserved communities and the city’s homeless.

According to a news release from Kroger, September is Hunger Action Month, a month to bring awareness and fight against hunger.
