It’s the first day of Fall and we are tracking a few showers and thunderstorms. In the Tropics, Hurricane Gabrielle has strengthened beyond any intensity forecast and could become stronger tonight.
We are tracking scattered showers and thunderstorms, near and along I-95 for northern Duval, Nassau and Camden counties. These will end after sunset tonight. The pattern remains slightly unsettled as humidity returns to the forecast. Feels Like temperatures will hover around 100 to 105 degrees.
Partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies will continue this week with patchy to dense fog early. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms will be possible daily, mainly after 2 p.m. Rain chances will increase Friday with scattered activity possible Saturday and Sunday.
