LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - One person was cited after a collision on O Street in west Lincoln on Sunday.

Lincoln Fire and Rescue were called to a four-vehicle crash on O Street near Skyward Road at 8:29 p.m.

According to a crash report, the male driver of a westbound Ford Focus was traveling 80 miles per hour when he believes to have hit an “oil slick” as he was passing a Kia Spectra and began fishtailing.

Fishtailing happens when the rear wheels of a vehicle lose traction and begins to slide.

The driver said he eventually lost control of his Ford and collided with the back of a westbound Lincoln MKX. The Lincoln crashed into a concrete poll under the MoPac Trail bridge.
