ABBEVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The South Carolina Attorney General’s Office reports an Abbeville man was arrested for child sex crimes on Friday.
Investigators said 37-year-old Timothy Cory Griffin solicited and traveled to meet a person he believed to be a minor for sex.
He was arrested by Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force investigators with the Abbeville Police Department and charged with criminal solicitation of a minor and attempted criminal sexual conduct with a minor.
The SC Attorney General’s Office is prosecuting the case.
