A railroad crossing in Catoosa County is back open after a truck that was carrying a boat got stuck on the tracks on Monday.

Shortly before 1:20pm, county officials warned of standstill traffic on Facebook saying the crossing on Highway 41 at High Street was blocked because a boat trailer was caught on the tracks.

Drivers were asked to avoid the area due to traffic being backed up through the downtown Ringgold area.

Just over an hour later, officials said the tracks had been cleared and traffic was moving once again.
