SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A Springfield resident with complex post-traumatic stress disorder (CPTSD) who called police for a nose complaint thanked the department for the way the incident was handled.

In a news release by the Springfield Police Department, on Sunday, the resident was having issues with a neighbor playing loud music when Officer Perez was called to the home. Springfield Police Superintendent Lawrence Akers received an email expressing gratitude and the positive impact of Officer Perez and Dispatcher Michelle Austin's actions.
