LEE COUNTY, Va. (WJHL) - Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin has announced Lee County will receive $5.7 million in state funding for housing and wastewater projects.
Lee County will receive $2.5 million for infrastructure development of 115 housing units and $3.2 million for a wastewater project, according to a press release from Glenn Younkin's office.
The release states the housing project in Ewing will consist of 55 townhomes, 38 duplexes, 9 triplexes and 13 cottages. Additionally, more than 37,000 yards of roadway will be constructed for the project, along with more than 6,600 linear feet of new water lines.
