LAKE TAHOE (KOLO) - An operation targeting drug related operations in the Lake Tahoe area resulted in 26 arrests and the seizure of 10 guns.

On Sept. 18 and Sept. 19, law enforcement from El Dorado County conducted Operation Folsom Blues 3.0, a targeted narcotics enforcement operation taking place in the West Slope and in the South Lake Tahoe Basin.

Pre-planned search warrants and targeted probation compliance checks were carried out in identified hot spots.

In addition to the 26 arrests and 10 guns seized, around 157 grams of methamphetamine, 11.5 grams of fentanyl, and 14.3 grams of cocaine were seized.

The El Dorado County DA’s Office, as well as the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office, are calling the operation a success.
