BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - After sitting empty for more than two years, the building that once held Borrowed Bucks Roadhouse has been purchased.
New owner Colton Shoults posted on social media last month that the building will be a concert and wedding venue.
The city of Bismarck website confirms the property is owned by Shoults and was purchased from Capital City Entertainment for $2.1 million.
The outside is getting a new coat of paint and other improvements. It’s unknown at this time when the venue will open.
Borrowed Bucks was open for nearly 30 years prior to closing in 2023.
The Burleigh County Assessor’s Office says the building was originally built in 1898. Articles from the Bismarck Tribune say the building was built in 1911. That year, Marshall Oil used it as a warehouse. Sincla
