PULLMAN, Wash. — A Washington State University football player is recovering after allegedly being shot by a University of Washington student while at a party after the Apple Cup.

According to court documents, the Pullman Police Department was called to an apartment building for a reported shooting around 1:47 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 21. Officers found a man, identified as Uilisone "Sone" Falealo, with a gunshot wound to his stomach.

Court documents show that Falealo was taken to the hospital and underwent surgery to remove the bullet, which reportedly did not damage any organs.

Falealo is listed as a Redshirt Freshman from Anchorage, Alaska, on the WSU Football 2025 roster. He also played for the University of Idaho in 2024.
