CORBETT, Ore. — In Oregon, there has been a lot of change in the last 100 years. Eighteen different presidents of the United States and 22 different Oregon governors, but there has been one constant: Multnomah Falls Lodge.
On Monday, the lodge celebrated its centennial; 100 years of helping people make memories and celebrate the beauty in the Columbia River Gorge.
"This is really special that we've had this dedication to this being a public space, open to everyone for all these years, it's really a iconic spot," said Donna Mickley, forest supervisor for the National Forest Service with the Columbia River Gorge Scenic Area.
