Bryan County Commissioners have rolled back the millage rate to 5.770 mills. The new rate was adopted at the commissioners meeting Sept. 9. For nine consecutive years, the rate has been reduced. In 2016, the rate was 9.185 mills.
"Maintaining a reduced millage rate reflects our Board’s dedication to balancing fiscal responsibility with community needs,” said Bryan County Chair Carter Infinger in a press release. “We are proud to have rolled back the millage rate for nine consecutive years, easing the burden on taxpayers while continuing to invest in the services that protect and enhance quality of life in Bryan County.”
