A new study says Colorado residents are particularly concerned with properly pronouncing a culturally significant state in Mexico.
No other U.S. state has more searches about how to properly pronounce Oaxaca, pronounced “wah-HAH-kah,” according to a review by Argentina Expat, a website set up as a guide for people thinking of moving from other countries to Argentina.
"Colorado's focus on Oaxaca pronunciation searches suggests residents have a particular interest in this incredible destination, whether they're planning culinary trips to experience authentic mole and mezcal, or simply want to discuss it knowledgeably," Ognjen Pavlovic, founder of Argentina Expat, said in a statement. "Oaxaca represents the heart of Mexican culture, and Coloradans clearly want to show proper respect by pr
