A woman who was wanted for homicide in North Carolina has been arrested in Wethersfield, according to police.

Officers responded to a location in Wethersfield on Monday around 6:20 p.m. for a report of a domestic-related incident.

During their investigation, police said they found out a 28-year-old woman there had a warrant out of Bertie County Sheriff's Office in North Carolina for homicide.

The woman was charged with being a fugitive from justice and was held on a $1 million bond.

She is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
