SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The Greene County Clerk's Office announces that absentee voting for the Nov. 4, 2025, Special Election in Greene County is now available starting Tuesday, Sept. 23.

November's special election concerns a tax question from the City of Springfield, asking voters if they want to approve a 3% tax increase in the city's lodging tax to help fund a new regional convention center in Springfield.

In-person absentee voting will be held at the Greene County Elections Center, located at 1126 N. Boonville Ave. in Springfield. Absentee voting will be available Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. up to and including the day before the election.
