STOCKTON, Mo. - The Stockton Lake Sertoma Club is hosting the fall festival is being held this week.

“This is the 65th Annual Black Walnut Festival,” said Sertoma board member Chelsi Haun.

Festivities begin on Thursday at noon. A two-hour parade through the city starts at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

“All the proceeds that we make from this event goes back to the youth in our community,” Haun said. “As of last year, we had given about $200,000 back.”

The event is free, but arm bands for the carnival rides are $25 presale or $30 when you walk in.
