A Greensboro woman has been arrested in connection with a shooting that occurred Sunday morning, the Greensboro Police Department said in a release.

The shooting happened around 1 a.m. in the 4200 block of Bernau Avenue.

When officers arrived, they found the victim, Tanner Alberty, suffering from a gunshot wound, the release said.

Zoe Santana, 27, of Summerfield Road was arrested Monday and charged with one count of attempted first-degree murder, one count assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, one count of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, one count of discharging a firearm into occupied property, one count of possession of a stolen firearm, and one count discharging a firearm in the city.
