Before news broke that Jimmy Kimmel would be welcomed back on the air, Sarah McLachlan said she was cancelling a planned appearance in support of the beleaguered late-night star.
Following his comments about the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk on last Monday, Disney and ABC announced that Kimmel would be off the air “indefinitely.”
Ahead of the Los Angeles premiere of , McLachlan, 57, said she would not be performing “in solidarity in support of free speech.”
