Michigan filmmaker Sierra Falconer is bringing her film home, and she will participate in a Q&A session following a screening of her movie Saturday in Milford.
Falconer is the writer and director of "Sunfish (& Other Stories on Green Lake)," which takes place and was filmed in and around Interlochen, where she spent her summers while growing up in Traverse City. The film, which premiered at this year's Sundance Film Festival , starts Friday at the Milford Independent Cinema.
Falconer will be on hand, along with producer Grant Ellison, for a screening and a post-film discussion at the one-screen movie house at 3 p.m. Saturday. Tickets, $11 for adults, $10 for MIC members and $9 for children or seniors, are on sale now through the theater's website .
