New Haven, Conn. (WTNH) — A Connecticut university is once again listed as one of the top five universities in the country, according to a new report from U.S. News and World Report on Tuesday.
In their ranking for 2026, Yale University in New Haven tied for fourth place, along with Stanford University in California.
The top spot went to Princeton University in New Jersey, the second to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and third place to Harvard University in Massachusetts.
Yale was also ranked No. 3 in "best value schools."
U.S. News and World Report made their report by evaluating more than 1,700 colleges and universities, using at about 17 factors to measure academic quality and graduate success.
