(FOX40.COM) — Kaiser Permanente nurses across California are holding an informational picket on Tuesday to protest layoffs, wage theft and the implementation of artificial intelligence, according to the California Nurses Association/National Nurses United.

The pickets will take place at 22 California Kaiser facilities, including the South Sacramento Medical Center and the Roseville Medical Center.

The pickets in the Sacramento region began at 7:30 a.m. and will end at 9:30 a.m.

Officials with the CNA/NNU, said the informational pickets are a response to "Kaiser’s prioritization of its finances over patient care."
