Chef MaryAnn Strange and Ryan Williams, the team behind the soon-to-open R&M Coffee Bar & Cafe in downtown Little Rock’s Pyramid Place building, made a memorable appearance on KLRT-TV, Fox 16’s “Food Spotlight” segment last week.

After taking Fox 16 anchor Ashlei King through some of their menu offerings, Williams surprised Strange with a marriage proposal that made for great live television.

So sweet!

R&M Coffee Bar & Cafe will be the second restaurant from Strange and Williams’ R&M Eatery Group . The pair also operate a restaurant in downtown Conway called R&M Southern Eatery at 1018 Oak St.

Their new Little Rock coffee shop/cafe at 221 W. 2nd St. in the Pyramid Place building will offer “all day brunch, that’s scratch-made, soul-filled and totally extra — just how you like it,” a
