CLOVIS, N.M. (KFDA) - The Clovis Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run that left one person hospitalized.

The crash happened on September 19 when dispatch received a 911 call that a person was hit by a car at Torreon and Gidding Street.

Officers arrived to find a man lying in the roadway with severe injuries.

The man, identified as 62-year-old Casey Henry, was taken to Plains Regional Medical Center before being transported to a Texas hospital.

A witness told officers Henry was walking in the road when a white Dodge Charger driving south on Gidding hit him and drove away.

The Charger was described as a white car with black stripes.
