RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - An operation targeting local gangs has resulted in arrests in the wake of a south Reno double homicide.

Earlier this month , two people were killed and one person was injured in a shooting at the Inova Apartments in south Reno.

10 people are now facing felony charges, one person is facing gross misdemeanor charges, while another is facing misdemeanor charges. Meanwhile, two misdemeanor citations were issued, four guns were seized, and six cars were towed or seized.

On Sept. 19, the Regional Gang Unit conducted an operation in the 800 block of W. 2nd Street, resulting in the arrest of four documented gang members on various criminal charges, as well as the seizure of a firearm.
