SACRAMENTO, California (KOLO) - A man charged with firing shots at the ABC10 building in Sacramento, California is now facing federal charges.
63-year-old Anibal Hernandez Santana of Sacramento was arrested over the weekend and is now being charged with possession of a firearm within a school zone, discharging a firearm within a school zone and interfering with a radio communication zone.
According to the DOJ of Eastern California, on Sept. 19, Santana fired one shot towards, and three shots into, the ABC10 station in Sacramento. They say that, while standing on the sidewalk around the block of the station, Santana fired the first shot into the air in the direction of the station.
They say he then drove to the front of the station and fired three shots directly into the building’s lobby
