Bells Across America is celebrated every year commemorating the signing of the Constitution, and hosted by the local Alta Mira Chapter of the Society of Daughters of the American Revolution and the First Congregational Church in Porterville, SETCO Republican Women, and other local groups.

Tulare County Supervisor Dennis Townsend gave the invocation, after which Scout Troop 132 gave an interesting presentation of the flags flown in America before our current "Old Glory," with 50 states.

Then all the assembled guests and audience said the pledge, followed by the American Creed, led by Diana Kaylor.

Kathy Arnold, Alta Mira Registrar, read the Preamble to the Constitution, which was followed by the Bells Choir playing America the Beautiful.
